Gabe De La Parra is an Emmy Award–winning drone cinematographer based in Los Angeles, specializing in aerial cinematography for film, television, commercials, and music videos. A pioneer in camera drone operation since the early days of the industry, Gabe has built a reputation for combining technical precision with a strong creative eye—approaching drone work not just as a pilot, but as a cinematographer focused on storytelling and intentional camera movement.

Since 2012, Gabe has collaborated with leading directors, cinematographers, and production teams across high-end projects, helping shape the role of drones in modern filmmaking. His work is defined by attention to detail, adaptability on set, and a deep understanding of both creative and logistical demands in professional production environments. He was awarded a Primetime Emmy in 2022 and received another nomination in 2025.

As the founder of DLP Aerials, Gabe leads a team of experienced drone operators delivering production-ready aerial cinematography throughout Los Angeles and beyond. Malin Hiles — FPV Drone Pilot & Camera Op

Malin Hiles is a Los Angeles–based FPV drone pilot, camera operator, and aeronautical engineer specializing in high-performance aerial cinematography for film, television, commercials, and music videos. Known as one of the top FPV pilots in the industry, Malin combines technical expertise with a strong creative instinct, delivering fast, precise, and visually striking drone shots that elevate modern productions.

With a background in aerospace engineering, Malin designs, builds, and operates custom FPV drone systems tailored for demanding cinematic environments. His deep understanding of flight dynamics and camera movement allows him to execute complex shots with consistency and control, whether navigating tight spaces or capturing high-speed action sequences.

In addition to his FPV work, Malin is a knowledgeable Local 600 camera operator, bringing a strong understanding of on-set workflow, camera systems, and collaboration with directors and cinematographers. His approach is rooted in problem-solving, adaptability, and attention to detail—ensuring that the creative vision of each project is realized with precision.
